Three Tree Trunks meet in the middle of this 11.5" diameter 3"H Bowl. Each Tree is represented uniquely and individually.

BEFORE and AFTER piece shown, striking variegated colors. Small 6" dish of Vitigraph, Murrini and dots. It's a beauty!

Numerous Colors of Murrini Rods (previously created) are "snipped" and arranged piece-by-piece in artistic color groupings. This dish was fired at a lower temperature to allow you to see the softened edges of the Murrini pieces. So you can feel each piece of Murrini, and as they stand up more light reflects on and sometimes through each Murrini. Dish is 9.25" Square

An Irid Red RAW Edge @ the base of the design is the eye-catcher. Rectangular Pattern Bars are along the remaining 3 sides and form the center design of this dish. Round Pattern Bars fall from above and mingle around the center area. The "Stripes" are clear & blue colored glass, cut into very thin strips, and added "on edge" into the design. I feel this striking dish brings your eyes IN to the design.

The BIRD SITTING ON A STUMP was created by combining Vitrigraph and Murini in one firing. The Leaves and Vegetation were created separately and added to the stump. The stump sits on a piece of slate. It is always 8" x 10" x 2.5', I enjoy finding unique pieces of wood, I’ll stash it in a spot that I can keep my eye on it as I can see the artwork.

An 11" striking blue display piece. The Kiln Carving was done by cutting various thicknesses of ceramic fiber, layering them into the design, under the glass. While Firing this to approximately 1450* the glass layers form around the fiber capturing the design. May be displayed flat or vertical.
the creativity never stops.....

An old water logged block holds the Oscar fish (from the Amazon). He was created flat, I used ceramic fiber under the side fin to stand out from the body. On the 2nd firing I utilized addition fiber for more body shaping. Vitrigraph river-bed "weeds" add the look. Oscar is secured into the block with rebar.

Glass comes in sheets, the sunflower petal are different colors of sheet glass cut into each petal -placed on a white & clear piece of glass that forms the base. Snipped Murrini, one by one are placed to form the center seeds. Vitrigraph forms the stem, bud and leaves. This Istriking piece may be an accent piece on the counter or table, it may be displayedin a window on a stand, and also used functionally to serve from. Fused Glass should never be used in any type of oven, we recommend hand was

A small glimpse into the backwoods.... this (6" L x 5' D x 8" H) three-sided, 3-deminsional Artwork, began with a piece of wood, Blue Flower and leaves are the focal point. When you look further around......you'll find a Ladybug, mushrooms, snail, pinecone and a viney white flower growing out of the wood.
My glass is best appreciated in person. To feel the piece, the weight & texture, and to see the color variations.

This is a very unique piece- The Blosoms: were created with Vitrigraph pieces I fired "under pressure" (with weights on top of them in the kiln as to flatten). The Edge: II wanted a branch-like feel to the dish, so I laid out the brown Vitirigraph pieces and then cut the white-wispy backround into the shape. Twigs and branches were added to connect the blossoms, it was then fired in the kiln making and the pieces into one design. A 2nd firing at a lower temperature slumped the glass into a mold

This small dish was created with Vitrigraph and Murrini. You can feel the individual pieces of glass. May be used as an indiviual dish or displayed on a stand to see the colors. FG is not used in ovens and we reccommed hand washing.

Bug Out refers to a Beetle and a Moth - approx. 14" x 13", it also includes a large purple Flower and 5 blossoms. Sheet glas was cut to shape the beetle, moth, flower, blossoms and some of the leaves. Vitrigraph and glass paint highlight.

This 13' x 23" hanging artwork features a BIRD, VINE with FLOWERS, and a NEST.
The background is hundreds of irregular pieces of glass (clear & Irridescent). These glass pieces are strategically placed to form a network behind the design and a gridwork and Irredecent pieces highlight the Sky. The nest was made with Vitrigraph, the sassy little bird with sheet glass and powders.

These a fun little pieces of artwork made wit Vitrigraph and Murrini. May be used at the table for sauces and such or as a location to hold rings, etc.

DARK Blue transparent glass is the backdrop to "Countryside". The tree trunk is sheet glass, the remander of the design was created using Murrini. This piece is very textural with different colors of Murrino show the hills and topography, straight Vitirigraph does create one of the hillls. Because this dark blue is so dark it would best be displayed hanging in a window. 13" x 15"

This Tray was created by cutting 3/8th" strips of vanilla & white colored sheet glass. Then laying them out with a gap between them to begin the design. Squares of transparent colors are cut to size, black strings are inserted as and accent, a little lighter color of Frit (ground glass) fills in between the vanilla strips to create a contrast. It is firtly fired flat and then fired over the mold to create the shape. It is a beautiful way to serve tea or a meal!

This white dish utilizes the RAW edge of sheet glass, I enjoy including the fuility of the glass within my designs. Cut squares form the checkerboard straight edge and simple Vitrigraph pieces accent to raw edge and add a pop of color to the 12"x 8" serving dish.

Periwinkle basedusing the RAW Edge on the left side. Daisy petals are cut from sheet glass. Blue flowers are pressed glass . Green Vitrigraph pieces form the flower stems and leaves.

This perwinkle dish is made more delicate with a layer of Opaline. The design of unique flowers and how this was kiln fired are the keys to this indiviual dish. Flowers stay vibrant under a "tack fuse" firing. (this is a lower temperaturech. The center of the mold is open and the drop can be as deep as you'd like. I enjoy working with glassin the manner.

This moncromatic dish is highlighted with Vitrigraph vines and Murrini bobbles. The design is limited to the edges of the dish, the beuaty of this is that the full design is always visible. May be a display piece, serving dish or your favorite dinner dish.

Pattern-Bars flank one side of this Opaline dish. To the left of the Pattern-Bars are strips-on-edge to add a little texture & on the other side are multiple vertical stipes. It is a simple, yet beautiful dish.

I began with a clear cirlce of glass the size of the mold. The Blue Vitrigraph I chose had some brown tones in it, so I utilized the brown Vitrigrpaph would complement it nicely. I nipped pieces of the Vitrigraph colors and formed a the design.
Kiln fired to fuse all the pieces together - a 2nd firing "slumped" it into the mold.
A precious piece 5.5" x 1.5".

This 13' dish is made of many pieces of Lt. Green Transparent glass along with Opaline, white and Barn Red Murrini and twisties. The mold used form a base (flat portion of bottom) just off-center. When it sits on a surfece one side will being higher than the other. May be used as serving dish and/or display piece.

This white dish utilizes the RAW edge of sheet glass, I enjoy including the fuility of the glass within my designs. Cut squares form the checkerboard straight edge and simple Vitrigraph pieces accent to raw edge and add a pop of color to the 10" x 8" serving dish.
